My Bridal Shower =)

Today was my Bridal Shower! Thrown by my maid of honor; my sister and my bridesmaids. It was amazing!!! Gorgeous, and so much fun! I had a blast hanging out with friends and family. Thanks to all those involved it was beautiful, and I can't thank you enough. My mom, me, and grandma

Our Invitations!!!!

Our invitations were designed, printed, and so much more by the lovely Anne (Super talented, by the way). I helped put them together, and my Mom addressed them! So drumroll please .............................................................

Disneyland!!

Friday Josue and I went to Disneyland. Josue's Co-Worker has a silver pass to Disneyland and can get three people in each day. (Very Cool) So he invited Josue and I to join him and his girlfriend on Friday. We decided to go to the House of Blues for dinner because he knows the Manager and he comped our meal. His friend decided to order us a round of cactus cooler shots. I am not a shot kinda girl, but I indulged them and took the shot. Then we had another round. After that is when I had to say enough. Anymore than two shots of vodka probably wouldn't sit well with me. So then we went in to Disneyland and California Adventure. What was the first ride they wanted to go on. TOWER OF TERROR. This was just perfect for my stomach! But even after that, and the roller coaster to my surprise I didn't throw-up! So I was very proud of myself, and now know I can handle at least two shots of Vodka! yay!! LOL. Although the next morning I did have an awful headache ;)

Eight weeks until the big day!!!

I have nothing ultra important to say, but my wedding is eight weeks from today!!! Yay!!! I am getting super excited. But nervous that all the little things won't come together. I hope I can use all my knottie friends advice and totally stand back and appreciate our wedding day. I can't wait. I love you Babe!!!

So I'm going to get personal... you are forewarned

So my family life is kinda messy and I'm not going to get into the nitty gritty. But let's just say my parents can't stand the sight of each other. My dad left when I was 9 but my sister and I continued to see him regularly until I was 15.Then he kind of went A-wall and disappeared. Now he owes my mom over $300,000 in back child support. So anyways they are going to court on June 16th. Over the last eight years I have really been hurt by my father. However I have seen a total 180 in the last few months. He has apologized and really started to get his life back together. My Dad is taking the steps to better our relationship. At first I was kinda like uh "to little to late" but he's my Dad and I love him. We are working and becoming closer. I feel better already. My Dad was an Amazing graphic design director, and now is having a hard time keeping a job. Now he lives with his Mom and works freelance. With his little money he managed to scrape up some $$ to put towards our wedding. I was touched! If you knew our situation you would know how BIG of a gesture that was of my Dad. It just totally shows how much he has changed. I think he finally realized what he missed out on by leaving our lives. I think he truly wants relationships with his daughters. Okay I know this has started to become way too personal for the internet, but I can't talk to anybody about it IRL without balling. So if anyone reads this please pray for peace at the wedding, and for my Dad's continued path to bettering his life. I'm proud of you Daddy!!!

Knottie Get Together

So yesterday I went to another Knottie GTG. I think that make's it six in total that I have been to. I loved this one. We didn't have a waitress giving us the evil eye! We had our Pizza/Potluck/Pomander GTG at the Beautiful Danielle's GORGEOUS house!! Thank you for hosting! Thanks for the good conversation girls!! I seriously feel like I am making great friends =)
